Experience:

Ing. Vargas has over 25 years experience in civil and environmental engineering and design.  He has specialized experience in civil and environmental engineering and permitting.  As principal of the firm, he is in overall charge of engineering, studies and design.  His management experience includes considerable project administration on a multitude of subdivision projects for private developers.

He has extensive experience in permitting, design of roadways, stormwater analysis, highway storm drainage planning and design.  Other project experience includes roadway improvements, intersection widening, preparation of roadway contract documents, construction specifications and cost estimates.  Ing. Vargas is thoroughly familiar with the City of Jacksonville standard specifications with regard to road design.  He also has an established working relationship with local utilities for utility adjustments and relocation.

Permitting is one of Ing. Vargas’ specialties.  He is thoroughly familiar with the regulatory reviewing process and has a long established relationship with the federal and state and local reviewing agencies.
