CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT

The following two projects are pertinent representative projects on which Construction
Management services have been performed by the firm of C.Vargas & Associates, Ltd.

Jacksonville Port Authority/Blount Island Marine Terminal
Easterly Marginal Wharf Extension, (89019.04), Jacksonville, Florida
Construction monitoring services provided on a sub consultant basis.    Provided quality control
personnel and on-site project representatives to assure compliance with plans and specifications.
The project consists of construction of parking aprons, warehouses and wharfs.

Provided construction inspection and contract administration services for re-piping of heating system
and rehabilitation of mechanical and electrical systems.

Kingsland Housing Authority, (87084.01), Kingsland, Georgia
Provided comprehensive rehabilitation, architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical,
plumbing and site design for a 20-unit housing complex.
Construction Cost:  $431,200

MUNICIPAL PROJECTS

The following are  two of the pertinent Municipal projects on which design services
were provided by C. Vargas & Associates, LTD.

Rowe Avenue Area, (94012.01), Jacksonville, Florida
Design and contract administration for the construction of the water distribution system and
other improvements necessary to provide city water service to the Rowe Avenue area, north Jacksonville.

Publix Refrigerated Distribution Center, (86002.01), Jacksonville, Florida
C.Vargas & Associates, Ltd. designed and analyzed the extensive truck parking and Loop Roads
existing stormwater drainage system, sewer system, water supply system, parking areas and traffic
flow to determine modification needed for 400,000 s.f. addition to existing warehouse complex.
Developed program of additions/modifications to existing systems to accommodate new facilities.
Prepared plans and specifications for required changes to drainage, water supply, sewers, parking
facilities and roads.

BellSouth Services MDC Facility, (88015.04), St. Augustine, Florida

Provided site civil design on a 15-acre site based on the architectural plan provided.  Services
included the following:

Complete site design services including a site location plan, site grading plan, storm water drainage design and utility
site plan.Designed well and control drawings for a potable and fire protection water supply; sanitary collection and
on-site treatment and disposal drawings; public potable water treatment system drawings, fire protection reservoir
including fire protection pumps system and controls based on fire flow demand information provided and a hazardous
waste spill containment storage and removal system in accordance with current EPA, DER and County requirements.
Obtained required permitting for the site design.  This involved coordination with federal, state and local agencies and
local utility companies. Construction review and observation services.
