Ing. Vargas has over 35 years experience in consulting engineering.  He has specialized experience in environmental and civil engineering.  He also has extensive experience in project management, project coordination and contract administration on a variety of multidiscipline projects.  He has actively participated in projects related to toxic and hazardous waste site evaluations, hydrocarbon site assessments, surface water quality projects, and NPDES permitting.  He is experienced in a wide range of environmental projects, including environmental permitting at the local, state and federal levels; compliance of facilities for industrial, domestic and stormwater regulations; and requirements for groundwater monitoring plans.

Ing. Vargas’ experience includes Contamination Assessment Reports such as for Publix Super Markets, Inc., which involved performing the sub-surface soil investigation and contamination assessment.  Additionally, he has prepared Contamination Assessment Reports and Remediation Action Plans such as for Kids Kampus in Jacksonville and also for the Central Business District Parking Lot #4 in downtown Jacksonville, Florida.  He has experience in environmental Phase II site assessment such as Jacksonville Federal Savings Association in Jacksonville, FL.

Ing. Vargas has project management experience in various design and permitting projects.  He is experienced in a wide range of environmental applications, including environmental permitting at the local, state and federal levels. Ing. Vargas’ experience includes Lake Park Truck Stop in Valdosta, GA.
